Lessons are based on Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft
Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint within an integrated curriculum.
Skills in these programs are introduced at age appropriate levels of
difficulty. Internet safety is a major component to our technology
curriculum. Lessons are integrated using the following
National Technology Standards areas of study: Technology Learning
Environments, Computer Care and Operations, Operating Systems, Applied
Technology and Application Software. Keyboarding is practiced and
emphasized throughout the Computer Technology curriculum.
Our goal for our students in regard to the
Computer Technology Curriculum is to provide all students with
opportunities to be successful while utilizing the latest technology.
