The St. James physical education curriculum places a strong emphasis on lifetime fitness, basic motor and sports skills, and fun! Sportsmanship and its relationship to Christianity is stressed at every level.
In Pre-Kindergarten and kindergarten classes, students practice basic motor and non-locomotor skills, rhythm and creative movement, stunts and tumbling, and health and safety issues. Active games and relays make up sixty percent of the class time and are used to reinforce skill instruction.
