Extended Care provides after school care for all students enrolled at St. James. Students can be signed up for full time (up to five days per week) or part time (one or two days per week). Families register one quarter at a time and are billed at the end of the quarter. Please note that we will keep students in cohorts as much as we can. Safety protocols such as masks, distancing, and frequent hand washing will be in place.
Option A: Full Time Extended Care $350 Option B: Part Time Extended Care $150 per quarter.
If you select the part time option, we will need to know in advance what days you plan to utilize Extended Care. This will assure that we have ample coverage each day. At the end of each quarter, you can re-enroll for Extended Care and select different days. Families will be charged the drop in rate for additional days during the week.
Please Note: When you select Option A or Option B, you are committing for the year. If your situation changes, please email Extended Care Director Thomas Hannie at THannie@StJamesEDS.org.
Drop Ins: We recognize that on occasion a family who is not registered for Extended Care to use Drop In service. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please email Thomas Hannie at THannie@StJamesEDS.org as early in the day as possible so that he can make sure that there is ample coverage.
The Drop In rate is $20.00 per day regardless of the time spent in Extended Care. Students who are not picked up by 3:25 in carpool will be brought to Extended Care. Students picked up after 3:45 will be charged the daily rate. After the third late carpool pickup in a quarter (3:45), late carpool attendees will be charged the daily rate beginning at 3:30.
